Statement of faith

We Believe…

The Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is therefore infallible and without error as it was originally written. It is the supreme authority in all matters of the Christian life. Where the Bible speaks we should stand firm, without compromise or apology, and where the Bible is silent we should exercise restraint and grace.
The single Godhead exists in the three separate and distinct persons of the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit. Each equal to the others in power and glory.
Jesus Christ, one-third of the Godhead, took on the form of man and was born of flesh to the virgin Mary. Through His life, death, and resurrection He has made a path of reconciliation with the Father. He will come again in accordance with prophecy.
The Holy Spirit, at the bidding of Jesus, comes into the heart of a person at the moment of repentance (born again – regeneration) and works in and through the individual to bring them closer to spiritual maturity (sanctification).
That salvation comes through faith and belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Messiah and through Him alone. It is solely by His work and mercy that were are found righteous before the Father (justification).
The Church is the elect of God, a body of believers from all times, all places, and all tongues. A “peculiar people” united by a common faith and purpose.
